It's the season for beautiful feet! Your feet are on display every day. You are either giving yourself regular pedicures, or having them done at a salon, but what are you doing in between to keep your feet looking their best? Here are my tips for feet and legs:
1. Every time you don your athletic or yard work shoes, take a minute to go over your feet with a foot file to smooth out any rough spots, and then apply a generous amount of Extra Emollient Night Cream, or the Hand Softener in the Satin Hands Set, all over your feet and toes. Then go do your workout, and let the heat and the Cream do their magic! You'll be amazed, when you remove your socks, how soft and smooth your feet look and feel!
2. Keep the Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub, from the Satin Hands Set*, in your shower, along with a fingernail brush. After you've worked out while wearing the Hand Softener/Extra Emollient Night Cream on your feet, hop in the shower and wash your feet with the Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub and fingernail brush. Your feet have been softened up by the Extra Emollient Night Cream, and dead skin sloughs off easily. When you get out, apply the Satin Hands Lotion or Mint Bliss Lotion to your feet. They will look salon-fresh!
*Comes in Peach or Fragrance-Free
3. The Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub is also a wonderful exfoliator! If you're using a self-tanner, exfoliate your legs regularly to avoid build-up and blotchiness. Then shave your legs with the 2 in 1 Body Wash and Shave Gel. Then use Timewise Body Smooth-Action Cellulite Gel Cream wherever it's needed, and finish with Timewise Targeted-Action Toning Lotion. Allow to dry before applying self-tanner.
Now that Mary Kay has discontinued their Subtle Tanning Lotion, which never got blotchy, I'm looking for a new self-tanner. So far I've tried Jergen's Natural Glow. It gives great, natural looking color, but after a couple of weeks it gets blotchy. So tell me, what's your favorite self-tanner?
